ABOUT US...

Apartments & Rooms Mara are located in two Jurić family houses in Klimno, island of Krk.

Our houses are situated right on the water's edge with each of our accommodation units providing a breathtaking sea view.

Our end goal is to offer accommodation where our guests will feel like they are at home. We arranged our accommodation units in such a way that they provide our guests with maximum comfort. We offer perfect accommodation for families with children and for those seeking a peaceful, car-free vacation right by the sea.

Each of our accommodation units features a balcony or a terrace with a sea view and comes equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite programmes, free WiFi, a hair dryer, a water boiler and a filter coffee machine.

All of our accommodation units can hold up to 18 persons along with extra beds for six persons.

In addition to the maximum capacity of our units, we will provide free accommodation for children (age four and under).

The variety of our accommodation units offers maximum comfort to individuals, couples, families with small children or teenagers and groups of families or friends.

Parking area for all of our accommodation units is located in the courtyard of the Jurić family houses. We will provide deckchairs and parasols at no extra charge. All our guests are welcome to use a fireplace grill on the terrace in our courtyard.

Our spacious courtyard holds two family houses and a small family-owned shipyard.

We speak Croatian, German, English and Italian and will gladly offer help and provide information to all our guests during their stay in our apartments.

Our apartments are situated 400m from the centre of Klimno.

The nearby centre of Klimno has a grocery shop, a pizzeria, restaurants and coffee bars, as well as a playground for children.

We are located 600m from the pebble beach 'Punta'.

If you would like to spend your vacation in a peaceful town, Klimno is the choice for you. In addition, the close proximity of almost any other town on the island of Krk makes Klimno a perfect station for your dream vacation.

WHERE TO FIND US

Klimno is located on the east side of the island of Krk, within fifteen minutes driving distance from the Krk Bridge.

Klimno is the biggest town in the Soline Bay and one of the oldest settlements in the area. The Saint Clement chapel built in 1831 is a testament to the town's history. In addition to the marina berths and small family-owned shipyards, Klimno is known for its rich gastronomic offer and restaurants serving seafood and other specialties as well as a variety of local wines. Owing to favourable weather conditions, the bathing season in the warm, shallow water of the sheltered Soline Bay starts as early as May and ends in late autumn. As such, Klimno makes for a perfect place to enjoy maritime activities such as sailing, scuba diving, kayaking, fishing etc. Scenic hiking and cycling trails can, too, be found within walking distance of the town's centre. Known for its medicinal mud, the 'Meline' beach is located 2 kilometres away from Klimno. Apart from its healing properties, the mud bath provides an exotic vacation experience and, as such, makes for a very attractive destination; both for children and for adults.
